TRANSITION OF JAMPOT RALLYE WEEKEND TO A ONE-DAY EVENT

To all Past JAMPOT Participants and Fans,
It is with a heavy heart and after much deliberation that I announce the cancellation of our four day annual event, effective immediately.
For the past 48 years, the Kahunas have enjoyed bringing the Matchless/AJS/British riding community together for this annual weekend rally. However, due to dwindling participation, we can no longer sustain this multi-day event at the high standard you deserve. Fewer people were attending each year due to various reasons most of which are associated with aging. The final blow came last year when our Canadian friends patriotically refused to cross the border and indicated that they will not do so this year as well.
I and all the past Kahunas want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported the event over the years. The friendships, memories, and camaraderie shared at Bucksteep and Blackthorne will not be forgotten.
In the future the Rallye will be a day ride on a Saturday in June starting a Bucksteep Manor. Check the website for details. We also encourage you to keep supporting local British motorcycle riding clubs, charity runs, etc. in your region.
